Welcome to the St Mary’s Catholic Primary School’s website.  We are very excited to be able to provide you with up-to-date school information, current Facebook feed and newsletter articles, as well as upcoming calendar events and reminders.

At St Mary’s we believe our strength is our positive atmosphere. The children are loved, respected, and taught well. We offer our students a rounded education that supports personal growth based on Catholic values, while our parents comment on the caring culture that permeates all facets of our school community.

Our inner-city location is convenient to most areas in Mackay and also offers a great location for older siblings to attend nearby Catholic secondary schools.

Our St Mary’s School community is a community of faith, with Jesus as our model and Mary, His Mother, as our patron.  Our priest, staff and parents work together in a spirit of Christian cooperation.  We aim to develop in each child a sense of his or her own potential and to provide the climate and encouragement for each to achieve at his or her maximum level in a caring environment.
