Student Protection

Catholic Education has a comprehensive approach to student protection which builds on measures already in place to safeguard children and the integrity of caring, professional teachers.

Catholic Education has in place procedures and mechanisms incorporating State Government legislation and the Queensland Catholic Education Commission's (QCEC) directives to protect students. In addition, further steps have been taken to ensure 'best practice' in care for children. The Diocesan Catholic Education Office has developed a Student Protection brochure for the information of Parents, Caregivers, Students and Staff.
